Method

    Slice courgettes 1 cm thick, toss with oil and grill 5 min, turning.

    Fry meatballs and onion 5 min in remaining oil.

    Add sauce, 250 ml water and gnocchi; simmer 10 min.

    Stir in half the cheese and basil. Top with the rest and grilled courgette.
